We have seen modular Panel PCs where the display and the computer are two separate modules joined together. What advantage does that have over an all-in-one Panel PC?

A modular Panel PC consists of a display module (touch, sealed front) and a computer module mounted behind it, joined through a dedicated connector. For example, Cincoze's CV-100 line is the display module, combined with computer modules such as the P2102 or P2202. Main benefits: 1. Replace parts separately: swap the display if it fails, or upgrade the computer module, without removing the whole unit from the cabinet door. 2. Standardisation across projects: the same computer module pairs with 12, 15 or 21 inch displays, so you manage one software set and system image. 3. Flexible configuration changes: change CPU or I/O while keeping the same door cutout. 4. The computer module can sometimes be used on its own as a box PC. Points to note: you must pair compatible display and computer modules according to the vendor's table, and the initial price can be higher than an all-in-one with the same configuration. In return, later maintenance and upgrade costs are usually lower.
