Lead time varies by model and by period, so it can only be confirmed in a specific quotation. Generally there are three cases: 1. Models in local stock: the fastest delivery. 2. Standard models not in stock: ordered from the vendor, with timing dependent on production schedules and international shipping. 3. Custom configurations (CPU, RAM, modules, special temperature ranges) or large quantities: usually longer, because the vendor builds and tests to order. To avoid project delays: 1. Ask for lead time when requesting the quote, and have it stated in the quotation. 2. Fix the configuration early; every model change restarts the clock. 3. Keep one or two functionally equivalent alternatives in case the main model is short. 4. For multi-unit projects, consider taking one sample unit first for software development, with the rest delivered later. 5. Allow time for setup and testing before going to site.
