Fault diagnosis
Answer a few questions to narrow down the cause. The steps follow the order technicians actually use: rule things out from the outside in, from cheap to expensive.
What to do
The problem is in the supply line, not the machine yet
- Check the breaker and fuses along the supply line
- Check the terminal block connections — loose screws are the most common fault where there is vibration
- Measure right at the PSU output: if the PSU has no output either, replace the PSU
- Check for hidden breaks in the wiring, especially where it passes the cabinet door hinge
Before opening the machine. Disconnect power, wait for capacitors to discharge, and photograph the current wiring. If the machine is under warranty, call us first — opening it yourself may void the warranty.
